Review: Weedo Tina 2 3D Drucker

Der kleine 3D Drucker Namens Tina 2 von Weedo ist nicht neu auf dem Markt und das Modell gibt es auch unter anderem Markennamen. Die Werbung spricht von einem kinderfreundlichem 3D Drucker und da ich beides habe (Kinder und 3D Drucker) bin ich gespannt, was das bedeutet.

Der Preis von ca. 250 Euro ist dabei recht happig. Bedenkt man, dass es andere Drucker mit größerer Druckfläche für grade mal 200 Euro gibt.
Jedoch will Bresser für den Raptor sogar 290 Euro haben.
Was macht dieses Drucker also so speziell?

Als großes Plus zu nennen ist da das solide Gehäuse. Man kann so zwar reinschauen, aber nicht gleich den Arm unter den Galgen packen.
Auch, dass das Hotend (also die heiße Durckspitze) mit einem Gitter umgeben ist, macht die Geschichte etwas tier- und kinderfreundlicher.

Leider ist die Druckplatte nicht beheizt. Somit kann man einzig mit PLA Drucken. Dass ist an sich ja nicht schlecht, da PLA ein ökologischer Kunststoff ist und da es sich dabei um ein abnehmbares und flexibles Druckbett handelt, muss man auch nicht auf einer Glasplatte mit einem Spachtel rumkratzen um den Druck abzubekommen.

Und um gleich zu dem nächsten Highlight speziell gegenüber genannten 200 Euro Druckern zu kommen: Auto-Bed-Leveling.

Wo man bei Ender und vielen anderen Druckern immer noch an Rädchen drehen muss und überall mit einem dünnen Papier die Ecken und Mitte einstellen muss, so geschieht das hier fast automatisch. Entweder man macht den Prozess auch einmal in der Mitte mit einem dünnen Papier oder man macht es Live bei einem Testdruck und stellt so die optimale Distanz zwischen Nozzle und Bett ein.

Nicht zu gebrauchen ist der Filamenthalter, auf welchen keine normalen 1kg Rollen draufpassen, was der Standard ist. Glücklicherweise besitzt man ja nun einen 3D Drucker, so kann man sich einen Spool Holder Drucken.

Weedo Tina2 vs. Prusa Mini+ (100×105 vs 180×180)

Ist dieses nun ein Kinderdrucker oder ein Drucker für das Klassenzimmer?

Nein! Aus meiner Sicht nicht. Es geht beim 3D Druck ja um das erstellen von Dingen und da muss man beim 3D Druck ja erst CAD oder Blendern können und das kann ich mich erst in den höheren Klassen vorstellen. In diesen Klassen ist dann aber der Bauraum und die Limitierung auf PLA auch wieder nichts.

Wenn, dann ggf. für eine ganz limitierte Anzahl an Nutzungsmöglichkeiten, um zu zeigen, dass sowas geht und gibt. Dann stört aber das Gitter auch mehr, dem Drucker wirklich bei seinen Bahnen zuzuschauen. Und dann um Gegenstände zu drucken, die Schüler dann zusammenbauen oder bemalen oder nutzen.

Ist dieses nun ein Drucker für zuhause?

Schon ehr und sicherlich ein guter Einsteigerdrucker. Die Druckqualität ist gut und da man sich die erste Zeit wirklich null um den Drucker kümmern muss und keine Ahnung von Technik haben muss ist ein großes Plus. Hier sehe ich schon, dass man einige Dinge auf zum Beispiel Thangs findet, die einem zuhause eine Hilfe sind.

Und auch die ersten eigenen Projekte in zum Beispiel Fusion 360 lassen sich damit realisieren. 100 x 105 hört sich nicht viel an. Aber ich drucke seit vielen Monaten/ Jahren auf nur wenig größerer Fläche und bin selten an die Größe rangekommen.

Wer es dann als sein Hobby erkannt hat, wird wie jeder von uns 3D Drucktypen feststellen, dass Drucker Rudeltiere sind und selten alleine bleiben. Dann hat man aber Erfahrungen gesammelt und weiss, was der nächste Drucker besser und anders können soll. Und wer kein Interesse dran hat, der hat halt auch nur 250 Euro investiert.

Wer etwas Erfahrungen gesammelt hat, möchte ggf. mehr aus dem Drucker rausholen. Dazu empfehle ich, auf SuperSlicer oder Prusa Slicer umzusteigen. Diese sind einfach zu bedienen und bieten eine Menge mehr Möglichkeiten gegenüber dem Wiibuilder.

Jedoch muss man den Slicern erst eine Grundeinstellung für den Tina2 liefern. Ich habe mit diesen sehr gute Ergebnisse erzieht. Dazu muss der Code in einer Config.ini gespeichert werden in dann in die Software importiert.
